It can have the same intended effects as retinol. If you react strongly to retinol, a growth factor product like this one may be a more tolerable skin care product. Unlike previous TNS® growth factor products by SkinMedica®, this one is fragrance-free and colourless. A few helpful things to know about this product It is designed to work in tandem with TNS®-MR, for further benefits to the skin. Coined as “Renessence (RSC) Advanced,” this formula includes added peptides and plant extracts to further condition skin. The other major change is with a new, ‘second chamber’ serum to go along with the advanced growth factor product. The new growth factor mix is called “TNS®-MR” (where “MR” stands for “Multipotent Resignaling”). This makes it suitable for sensitive skin, and a lot calmer for all other skin types. They had to change the growth factor proteins in order to do this. The cosmetic formulators at SkinMedica® also got rid of the need for any fragrance or colour in this product. The new solution contains a feature that has been coined as “Multipotent Resignaling.” In essence, this creates a more potent, and thus, more effective collection of growth factors. Now, chemists have revised the culturing process by which epidermal growth factors are extracted for use in skin care. They have the ability to ‘signal’ your body’s own skin cell ‘factories.’ Studies have shown their ability to reduce wrinkles, redness, hyperpigmentation and more. Growth factors have been popular in skin care products for at least the last decade. This gives it an extra ‘boost’ of effectiveness.
